A Biblioteca Pública Regional da Madeira (BPR) é um espaço com diferentes ambientes e acervos, de cultura, conhecimento, lazer e de informação, aberto a todos os cidadãos.

The Public Library of Madeira (BPR) is a space with different environments and collections, culture, knowledge, entertainment and information, open to all citizens.

Os espaços públicos, de livre circulação, da Biblioteca Pública Regional, encontram-se distribuídos em dois pisos – 0 e 1.
The public spaces of free movement, of the Regional Public Library, are distributed on two floors - 0 and 1.

A entrada para a receção geral do edifício, sector de venda de publicações, auditório, secretaria e cafetaria e Sala de Leitura Especial.
The entrance to the general reception of the building, sector for the sale of publications, auditorium, cafeteria, office and Special Reading Room.

Sala de Leitura Geral, Sala Infanto-Juvenil, Sala de Atelier, Cinemateca.
General Reading Room, Children and Youth Room, Atelier Room, Cinematheque.

Segunda/Monday: 14h00 - 20h00
Terça a Sexta/Tuesday to Friday: 09h30 - 20h00
Sábado/Saturday: 09h30 - 15h00
Domingo/Sunday: Encerrada/Closed

b) Verão/Summer (15 de Julho a 14 de Setembro/15th July to 14th September)
Segunda/Monday: 14h00 - 18h00

A cache possui espaço para Geocoins e Travelbugs e foi colocada com a autorização da BPR. Não é permitida a entrada de mochilas / sacos na BPR. Precisas de deixar um documento de identificação na recepção para entrar na biblioteca como visitante, ou então poderás criar o teu cartão de leitor sem encargos.
Be discreet and respect the other users of the library by being silent. Leave the cache as you found and where you found. The cache has space for Geocoins and Travelbugs and was placed with the permission of the BPR. Backpacks / bags are not allowed in the BPR. You need to leave an identification at the reception to go to the library as a visitor.
