Ribeira do Seixal é o nome do pequeno curso de água que atravessa o Chão da Ribeira e onde começa e termina a nossa aventura. O Chão da Ribeira é um fantástico local da freguesia do Seixal. Situado entre 400 e os 500 metros, é uma zona com poucos habitantes, coberta por denso arvoredo e casas de pedra. A paisagem deste local é fortemente marcada pela actividade agrícola. Aqui predominam a cultura da batata, batata-doce, feijão, couve e milho. Ao descer o Chão da Ribeira é possível desfrutar de uma bela vista sobre a cascata da foz da Ribeira de João Delgado.
"Ribeira do Seixal" is the name of the little stream that crosses "Chão da Ribeira" and where our adventure begins and ends. "Chão da Ribeira" is a fantastic place in "Seixal". Situated between 400 and 500 meters, it is an area with few inhabitants, covered by dense forest and stone houses. The landscape of this site is heavily dominated by agricultural activity. Here the predominant cultures are: potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans,cabbage and corn. When descending from "Chão da Ribeira" it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view over the "Véu da Noiva" waterfall.CACHE:

STAGE 1 - The Big Waterfall
Estaciona o teu carro à beira da estrada e segue o trilho que se inicia no local, entrando na ribeira e subindo em direção às coordenadas da stage 1. Procura pelo spoiler na margem esquerda.
Park your car by the roadside and follow the trail that starts on site, entering the river and going up towards the coordinates of stage 1. Search for the spoiler on the left bank.
STAGE 2 - Waterfall in the Jungle
Os últimos metros até o estacionamento são em estrada de terra com alguns buracos (se preferires deixa o teu carro antes da ponte).
Primeiro vira à esquerda para iniciar o trilho "Caminho das Voltas".
Depois terás de sair do trilho principal virando à direita para um trilho onde a vegetação é densa e o trilho pouco marcado. Sobe até encontrares a cascata e procura pelo spoiler na margem esquerda pouco antes da cascata.
The last meters towards the parking lot are on a dirt road with some holes (if you prefer you can leave your car before the bridge).
First turn to the left and follow the trail "Caminho das Voltas".
Then you have to leave the main trail turning right onto a little used track where the vegetation is dense. Go up until you find a waterfall and look for the spoiler on the left bank just before the waterfall.

STAGE 3 - The Forest
Para chegar a este stage final poderás encurtar 540m ao percurso com o carro (estrada de terra com alguns buracos) e depois andar 350m num trilho de terra para chegar até a área da cache. To reach this final stage you can shorten 540m to the route by going by car (dirt road with some holes) and then walk 350m on a dirt trail to reach the area of the cache.
